SV Aerial & Consulting was started to help with expert investigating in collisions to help harness the power of drones to save money and be more effective in their work.
SV Aerial Consulting is based in Grinnell, Iowa, and serves businesses and individuals with Accident Reconstruction, & UAV solutions including Mapping, Aerial Spraying, drone photography, 3D modeling, and Sales & Instruction.
WHO ARE THE DRONE EXPERTS?
Chris Starrett, owner
Chris was an 18-year veteran of the Iowa State Patrol and 6 years of it as Sergeant. He was in charge of the Accident Reconstruction/sUAS Unit and helped launch their use of drones in investigations. He has investigated hundreds of collisions and is an accredited collision investigator through ACTAR (Accredited Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction).
Chris is an FAA Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot and a commercial applicator. He is also a certified flight & ground instructor for drones and single-engine aircraft.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Mount Mercy University and has an AAS in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Indian Hills Community College.
ERIC VAN ZEE, pilot
Eric owns Van Zee Ag, an agribusiness that provides a number of farm services, including aerial imaging. He’s a Real Estate Salesperson for Farmers National. Eric works closely with clients to meet their real estate goals and objectives. He brings experience, marketing, and the ability to close the deal for a successful sale.
Eric is an FAA Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot and certified commercial applicator. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is also a former trooper with the Iowa State Patrol.
